Chapter 23: News
Chapter Summary: Patrice calls Alex with exciting news.
Mini Preview: She was glad when Alex picked up, not wanting to just leave a message, "Well I'm just on my way out to get drinks with some of the other attorneys, but I couldn't risk not getting to talk to you tonight. I have exciting news." She was still pacing, smiling broadly.

Chapter 24: Searching
Chapter Summary: Alex goes to the club when she gets off the phone with Patrice, but she's not sure what she's looking for.
Mini Preview: The blonde flushed lightly. "I have no dignity here," she said quietly, knowing that her pride was something that she had never really been able to let go, even at the club.

Chapter 25: Outing
Chapter Summary: Sabina decides that it's time Nathalie returns to the club
Mini Preview: Sabina chuckled and bent down to kiss Nathalie, chasing away her stern expression. "Come on. Let's go tonight." Better to do it before Nathalie could spend too long thinking about it.

Summary: The night she met Donna and began her journey to becoming whole, Lara left a young girl cowering in her destructive wake. While Nathalie moved on, she faced quite a bit of new, frightening, and oddly exhilarating things her first night with Lara before coming to the club.
Mini Preview: "Why did you come with me tonight?" It didn't really need to be said, but Lara was vain enough to want to hear the answer.

Nathalie swallowed her wine and took another long, thoughtful sip. She hadn't expected to be asked so directly, and that, combined with the force of Lara's gaze, made her squirm...albeit into Lara's touch. "You were the most interesting person in the room," she managed a little breathlessly, "and...you noticed me."
